Different kinds of pasta will soak up differing amounts of water. If your pasta begins to stick to the bottom of the pan, simply add more water. For this specific recipe, you can add additional tomato juice.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 6 ounce can tomato paste
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 8 ounces dry spaghetti

In a large skillet break up ground beef and combine all the ingredients except the spaghetti. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add spaghetti; stir to sperate strands Simmer covered for 30 minutes.
