In a bowl, pour the boiling water over the gelatin and stir until the gelatin is dissolved. Add the tomato sauce, vinegar, salt, onion juice, red pepper sauce, and cloves. Mix well. Chill until slightly thickened but not set.
Stir in the celery, pour the mixture into a 4-cup ring mold, and chill until firm.
Shrimp Salad
Combine all the ingredients except for the mayonnaise in a medium-sized bowl and chill thoroughly. Drain the excess liquid.
Just before serving, add the mayonnaise and stir.
Serving
Spoon the shrimp salad into the center of the aspic ring and serve.
